What I Do

Okay I guess I’d better let you know what it is I actually do.
I am a First Aider and have been for, well seems like forever, but four years. I plan to progress on to the ambulance service later on, but for now.. this is the second best thing.

I am one of the team at a village in the Surrey countryside and attend public events every weekend [some weekdays], any time of day, any time of the year. Right through from January back to January again.

Most of the events that you ‘general public’ go to it is more than likely that someone from the organisation I belong to will be there, providing safety and well-being for everyone. And we are ALL volunteers and do this out of the good of our heart! *Cough* *Cough*.

But no seriously, I wouldn’t change the way my life is and I couldn’t imagine my life without doing this.

Well that is basically it really. The point of this blog is to show you people what it is like from a different perspective. Hopefully you will find the blogs interesting.. but we shall see. Please feel free to leave comments, but only constructive comments please.
